Just a few reminders and updates from the recent newsletter. 

Parent's Evening are this week - Wednesday 11th and Thursday 12th                                                                                  If you have not booked an appointment yet, please check your texts from school and book through the link or phone the Office and they will book one for you. The uniform exchange will be open on both evenings. If you have any clean good quality used uniform to donate please bring it in and give to staff on the evening. 

Monday 16th March - Training Day                                                                                                                                          School is closed for a staff training day on this day.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                      Tuesday 17th March - St Patrick's Day                                                                                                                                      On our feast day we will celebrate Mass together at 9.30am in church. Live Irish music and dancing afterwards in our school hall. Parents and parishioners are welcome to join us after Mass. As is tradition, all children to come in dressed in green. 

Sunday 15th March - St Patricks Day Parade - CANCELLED                                                                                                  Unfortunately, this years parade has been cancelled due to health and safety issues in Leeds city centre. This is a real shame but we hope it will be back next year bigger and better than ever. 

Finally... we are celebrating British Science week this week in school. The children were introduced to the theme which is Curiousity in assembly yesterday. This is a link to activity packs which are full of ideas and links https://www.britishscienceweek.org/activity-packs/.                                                                                                                  We will all be busy thinking of curious questions to investigate this week in school. There is also a home challenge with a special prize for each key stage. I am sending the flyer with more information, so that you can all join in the fun at home.
