27th April - NEU Proposed Teacher Strike - Following a risk assessment today I can confirm that all classes will be open on Thursday. However, there will be considerable disruption to learning on this day. Teachers are being urged by their union to support the strike to get a fully funded above inflation pay rise for teachers. 

After-School Clubs begin this week. Most forms have been returned home to say what club/s your child is in. 

First Holy Communion - Classes with the Parish Catechists began last week following a letter home before Easter. These will continue each Tuesday after school in the hall. 

Y5 Whitby Residential - Y5 are currently enjoying their time sightseeing in Whitby. The staff have many activities planned for the day and evening ahead. Please pray for good weather for them.  

Leeds United will be in this week to award prizes for our fundraising efforts before Easter. Well done to the lucky raffle ticket winners who won match tickets. Let's hope our pupils presence can bring them some much needed luck!  

Reminder two bank holidays when school will be closed - Monday 1st May and Monday 8th May
