We are predicted to experience very hot weather next week and particularly on Monday and Tuesday. It is very important that children come to school prepared for this. Please see key points below - 

• Children are advised to come to school in summer uniform or school PE kit all week - this will ensure they are in light clothing
• Children must come to school with sun cream. This should be at least Factor 15 and labelled with their name and in a small plastic bag. Children must be able to put the cream on by themselves. Please practise with them at home on key areas of their body. Please put sun cream before they come to school as well. 
• Children must have a filled water bottle each day - children will have access to this water all day
• Children must have a labelled peaked hat to wear whilst outside
• If children do not have sun cream and a hat on Monday and Tuesday they will have to stay inside at break and lunch
• Children will not be outside for PE or extended periods other than morning break and the second half of lunchtime on Monday and Tuesday. At lunchtime the children will be kept in the shaded areas of the field.
• Y6 have a letter coming home advising parents about the arrangements for them next week. 
• Reminder school reports coming home Monday Rec-Y5 and Tuesday for Y6 as they are on a school trip.
