St Patrick's Catholic Primary School

School Council

A School Council helps to develop opportunities for children to express their ideas and solve problems. Here at St Patrick's we have two representatives from each class who are duly elected onto the school council by their own class peers. Their term of office lasts for one year.

The School Councillors represent the views of their own class at the School Council. They report back to their respective classes on the outcomes. Every two weeks the Council gather with Mrs Longbottom to meet and discuss any ideas or suggestions the children of the school have raised. The School Council is very involved in making this school a very happy, secure and welcoming environment.
